Louis Farrakhan: "Our Muslim World Wants to See the US/UK Handcuffed"

On August 25, I uploaded a video entitled "Louis Farrakhan: "Our Muslim World Wants to See the US/UK Handcuffed". It received over 2,000 views in under 48 hours, but YouTube subsequently deleted it after a complaint by the owner of the footage. Wouldn't be surprising if Farrakhan's people had got wind of the video and had it pulled. I've now uploaded the video to LiveLeak, where it's since received another 650 views. This is an important video and - until now, unseen footage of Minister of Nation of Islam, Louis Farrkhan speaking about his plan for the destruction of America.

MADRID – A 14-year-old Dutch sailor aiming to become the youngest person to sail solo around the world says she has reached Spain's Canary Islands off northwest Africa but declined Thursday to say where exactly she was. "Now I'm in the Canary Islands with the first stage of my trip behind me," Laura Dekker wrote on her website. "It was a great first stage that I can look back on with a good feeling. The message was posted Wednesday but gave no details as to where on the seven-island archipelago she was. In an email Thursday to The Associated Press,...

The drought decimating Russia's grain crop is helping put more money into the pockets of U.S. farmers and leaving the world more dependent on the U.S. harvest. The U.S. Agriculture Department said Thursday it expects U.S. wheat exports to soar 36% amid higher prices, and in a rare move raised its one-month-old harvest forecasts and price forecasts for several major U.S. crops, including wheat, corn, and soybeans at the same time. "The U.S. is an island of supply in a year of very big demand," said Daniel W. Basse, president of AgResource Co., a Chicago commodity forecasting concern. Higher prices...

Post-Anti-Americanism (The World Pities America MASSIVE BARF ALERT)

You can still buy an American newspaper at the kiosk in Rome’s Piazza Colonna, but you have to ask the lady behind the counter. She turns from the window, paws through a stack on the floor, and produces an International Herald Tribune, holding it at arm’s length like a day-old fish. It’s the same availability and tone in Venice, the Greek islands, and Istanbul. The implicit question in the transaction is always the same: why would you want to read that thing about that place at this time? And when you read about America in European newspapers, what you...

New Delhi, Aug. 9 The US Border Security Bill that aims to increase H-1B and L-1 visa fees reflects an “overwhelmingly protectionist frame of mind” and will raise “very serious questions” as it targets a particular set of companies, India has said. Ginsburg: OK to look to foreign law for good ideas

Ginsburg: OK to look to foreign law for good ideas (AP) Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg says judges can look to foreign law for good ideas without diminishing their ability to apply U.S. law faithfully. Ginsburg told a meeting of international lawyers Friday that American judges can learn from their foreign counterparts when seeking solutions to "trying questions." Ginsburg said high court nominee Elena Kagan got it right when she told senators at her confirmation hearing that she was in favor of good ideas "wherever you can get them." Ginsburg acknowledged that other justices, including Antonin Scalia, are sharp...

FRANKFURT — The sovereign debt crisis would seem to create worry enough for European banks, but there is another gathering threat that has not garnered as much notice: the trillions of dollars in short-term borrowing that institutions around the world must repay or roll over in the next two years. The European Central Bank, the Bank of England and the International Monetary Fund have all recently warned of a looming crunch, especially in Europe, where banks have enough trouble raising money as it is. Their concern is that banks hungry for refinancing will compete with governments — which also must...
